Secret gays?

Welcome to the big gay party, Kelly. Tom, on the other hand… the jury is still out on him.
One of Gawker’s blind items from yesterday poses the following question:
“Which A-list actor’s wife belongs to a secret lesbians-only club in L.A.? To keep things discreet, the club staggers arrivals so its members aren’t photographed together.”
I cannot think of anything more horrid than a secret lesbian club, unless one of the rules of membership states that no members are allowed to date any other members. Then the club would make sense: a secret hideout from your exes and other people you’d rather not run into - sort of like an underground railroad for lesbians.
But if this club exists (which I doubt), it’s probably a club for lesbians in the entertainment industry who haven’t gotten the memo that being out isn’t a career killer. (See, for example, Ellen, Portia, Rachel and so on and so forth.) If this club does exist, its members should be immediately outed and ridiculed for living in the stone age, unless of course, the purpose of the club is to provide a sanctuary from the scene (see previous paragraph) and there is a “no fraternizing” rule, in which case I’d like to talk to the person in charge for franchise opportunities in New York City.
I have a “girlfriend”. We’ve been on and off for 2 years now and recently I’ve tried breaking up with her but it doesn’t stick because I love her, I just don’t see us working out. All of a sudden she has a crush on my best friends ex; my best friend and her ex are talking, might get back together because the ex wants to. My girlfriend has an uber crush on her and said that she wouldn’t talk to my best friend’s ex if it meant we could be together. And then out of nowhere I get on my MySpace and her status says “it’s you” and mood: lusted and loved… and I’m like WTF… I didn’t make her feel that way today… and then I read my best friend’s ex’s status that says… “Is it me?” so I get on my “girlfriend’s” page and notice she has hidden her friend’s page. So I know my way around MySpace and see that she has added her back after she said she wouldn’t, she was going to hide it from me. I feel betrayed and hurt and I thought we were happy, but she just cant stop talking with this girl, this girl tends to be very fake sexual with her friends, and my “girlfriend” is needy and I think has mistaken it for something more. I don’t know what to do.
She says she wants to be with me but needs everyday happiness (I don’t get to see her because he mother HATES ME and gays). But my best friend’s ex wants to get back with my best friend so it’s not the kind of happiness I have given her.
Should I keep trying and try to make us work? Or give up and move on? The moving on part seems harder. :/
I want to thank Vibe Review for the opportunity to review the Bo by LELO. Bo is in the line of men’s toys, as it’s a cock ring, but I really don’t think the fact that something is made for one gender or another should necessarily prevent people from using it. What I mean is, you can use this on faux cocks. I really love this toy on a strap on dildo. Not only does it add stimulation for the person getting fucked with the strapon, but if you’re using a double dildo with an end that you can insert into the wearer, like the Share which I will be reviewing soon, it feels absolutely amazing.
What it is, is a vibrating cock ring. The top part is the vibrator that slides into place and is made of hard plastic. Once in place, the vibrator is on. The bottom part is the ring, and it’s made of TPR, which means that it’s compatible with silicone or waterbased lube. TPR, or Thermoplastic Rubber is body safe and pthalate free, but porous, so sharing this with with another person or persons, or using it with a non-monogomous partner increases the risk for spreading diseases.
What I like, is the quality. It’s very stretchy, so for whatever you’re putting on, it’s gonna work great. It also comes, as all things LELO, in a black box and with a charging cable. It also comes with a matching plastic storage case, in lieu of the satin bag, which it can charge through. All in all, this is a great product, and would be the perfect gift for yourself or a partner who loves strapon sex and still wants that buzz from a vibrator. Or give it to your best guy friend! Either way, check it out over at Vibe Review.Similar Posts:

This one courtesy of – you guessed it – AFTAH.. The flaws in this theory are numerous. They start with the source, Shawn Akers. The Liberty Law Madrassah is not exactly a bastion of legal nor intellectual excellence. Akers received a Juris Doctor from Regent University’s School of Law. According to his bio, he is the Director of Academic Support and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law. So we have a part-time instructor at a third-tier law school who graduated from another third-tier law school. I guess that he missed the opportunity to be hired by Monica Goodling.
This argument relies on three leaps of “faith.”
The first is the designation of preferred victims. No benefit inures to the victim of a hate crime. This is similar to the preposterous claims made by legal wizard Bam Bam Barber based on equal protection. Of course, federal and state hate crimes laws currently exist and have survived numerous court challenges.
The second is that local law enforcement would knowingly forge a federal application for assistance which would require fabricating non-existent evidence in support of a non-existent hate crime. Then, one would have to conclude that the US Attorney reviewing the application would be incompetent. If there is any evidence that such a situation currently exists with black, Jewish or even Christian crime victims, Akers fails to site evidence of such abuse of federal funds.
Finally, Akers makes the false claim that sexual orientation and sexual identity are mutable. Aside from the fact that the science is at odds with that assertion, it is irrelevant. Hate crime laws apply to victims of violent crime targeted for their religion which is certainly a mutable characteristic.
Officially Preferred Victims: Liberty University law professor Shawn Akers writes that if H.R. 1913, the federal “Hate Crimes” bill, becomes law, “local and state law enforcement would have the incentive of federal funds to prosecute cases involving … preferred victims to the exclusion and neglect of less valuable victims.” Membership in the “preferred” category is “based not on immutable characteristics but on the class member’s choice of sexual conduct … and subjective gender self-identity.”
By the way, Akers is also a Bachmannesque crazy. He recently wrote, on Townhall.com:
Obama's Henchmen and the Rise of Commufascism
The secret to selling bad ideas is to make sure they are the only ones available. This is how totalitarian regimes take power. Whether it was Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany or Vladimir Lenin in Communist Russia, the pattern is largely the same – totalitarian dictators come to power by enshrining themselves as cults of personality and then creating political monopolies through often less than delicate campaigns of indoctrination and censorship – especially censorship enshrouded in the intimidating aura of state power.

Hey folks,
I just finished speaking with Ms Mallory Simon from CNN.
She has been following the case of Ms Shirley Tan and found Out4Immigration's name on a few articles and have reached out. She wants to cover this story and write about the injustice that same sex binational couples have to go through and she wants to interview couples.
Are you willing to speak to her?
I have checked her out and she covers politics and she has a twitter account (http://twitter. com/MallorySimon CNN)
She is interested in speaking with couples who are living in exile, living in the US on a visa waiting for a green card, partner's visa has run out but have no where else to go, couples being separated by immigration laws living in different countries… you get the pictures…. she wants to speak to any couples suffering under the injustice of this stupid immigration laws that denies a gay american from sponsoring his/her foreign partner for a green card.
She is also sensitive to the nature of each of our situation and is willing to provide anonymity if requested.
So here's what you need to do. If you are willing to speak with Mallory, please send me an email at amos@out4immigration.org - I will send her your information as well as follow up to make sure that contact is made. I hope you do not mind. Since this is a big news outlet, I want to make sure that all parties interested get to speak with her and have your stories heard and that no one falls through the crack.
This is the time to get our stories out there in the mainstream media - this is our time to push for the passage of the Uniting American Families Act!
THIS IS THE TIME TO SPEAK OUT!
Regards,Amos Lim
A bill before the Michigan legislature would legalize adoption by unmarried partners. Gary Glenn of American Family Association in Michigan doesn't like that idea, because gays could adopt kids. He trots out the familiar argument that a kid needs both a mother and a father. But wouldn't it be better for a kid to have two fathers rather than be stuck in foster care? Glenn responds: “We simply refuse to engage in the rhetorical mechanism by which we're asked to choose between two less-than-ideal situations.” I'll take that as a no.

I don't know Glenn's family (other than he is married), so I can only speak hypothetically. Mr. Glenn. Suppose your daughter and son-in-law and their sweet child were in an auto accident that killed your daughter. From your comments that a child needs both a mother and a father it follows that your grandchild should be placed in foster care until your son-in-law should happen to remarry.
Alas, the Michigan Radio website doesn't seem to permit comments attached to individual stories.

When the news was breaking I wrote a quick commentary piece about Specter's party switch at FOCUS.
That and in itself didn't warrant a link here in the Coffee House, but what I have just found does in the interesting side note I have added.
Did you know Specter has a good history with the gay community?
